June...in pictures

This is Sassi, where Jim and I celebrated our 17 year anniversary.

And, here is Jim on his way inside.  OK, the food here was great but the Tuscan decor (including this super awesome door behind Jimbo) was mesmerizing (at least for me)!

Jim was supposed to be taking a picture of the scenery in the background, which was just as amazing as the decor.  But, to enjoy that scenery, we had to sit outside.  We live in Arizona.  It's mid-June.  I'm sweaty.  How could you not be sweaty?  I must admit, it did cool down once the sun went behind the mountain.

The day after our anniversary was Father's Day.  And, here we are taking Payton to camp for the week.  She's only 11!  Five nights away from home?  Leaving on Father's Day?  This is too much to bear!

Here she is.  On the van and ready to go.  No turning back now.  I'm about to go into cardiac arrest at this point.  Did I say she is only 11?

As you can see, we made it through the week, Connor and I.  Since Jim was off to far away places like New York and Chicago.  Here we are, today, making Payton a huge "Welcome Home" sign.  We missed her terribly.

Sophie missed Payton too.  But, at this point she was more interested in a belly-rub than getting her sissy home.  A belly rub!  While we're sign-making?  Has she no shame?
