Listen!

Pray. For it is fellowship with God.
Pray. For it is a beckoning to join with God in accomplishing His eternal purposes.
Pray. For it truly changes things.
Pray. For it is a means of confession + fighting sin.
Pray. For it is an act of humility.

My day-to-day life is dramatically different when I talk to God throughout the day. So....why don't I do it ALL the time? I don't know!! Someone recently told me that praying is not just thanking God, asking him for forgiveness or asking him for "things" but that it is LISTENING to God as well. In the silence, through the words of a song, in the shower, driving down the highway...in the quiet moments God will whisper in my ear. I am working on being a good listener....
