I haven't slept much in the past week. My heart has been heavy and nearly broken for a person that God put into my life about 7 years ago. Her name is Cindy. She is actually my Pastor's wife. We aren't the kind of "best buddies" that talk all the time, but we have the kind of unspoken friendship that you know was crafted by God. In my heart I just want God to heal her, today, right now! But, He has also put the burden on my heart to help her (and her family) and love them unconditionally. She has been battling cancer for a little over a year now. The twists and turns of the cancer she is dealing with are almost too lengthy to describe in one short post. As I'm sure you can imagine, with cancer, comes such enormous emotional and financial stress. I'm sure too much for me to even begin to understand. And, there are some possible naturopathic treatments that Cindy may be able have...again HUGE financial stress as it is not covered by insurance. Anyhow, I wanted to do something to try to relieve some of those stresses for my friends and show them God's love through His people.
