“so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”- Hebrews 9:28

I like to check the daily verse at biblegateway.com every morning.  This was today's verse.  Hmmmm.  I must admit I am ready for Jesus to come back.  This place is so filled with suffering, loss, sadness, hurt and disappointment.  I'm ready for Jesus' new order.  I'm ready for no more tears.  No more loss.  No more hurt.

But, have I fulfilled His purpose yet?  Have I done everything I can for His kingdom while here on earth?  Have I loved my neighbors as myself?  Have I utilized every moment and opportunity I've been given to show others His love by the way I live, the way I act, the words I speak?  Will he say "well done" to me when we come face-to-face?
