God's People

I am always utterly amazed at the placement of God's people in my life.  Jim and I went to lunch today.  We couldn't decide between Roberto's and Subway.   We settled on Roberto's where we ran into someone from our small group (and her daughter).  I've heard lots of awesome things about the daughter, Joanna, so I was excited to talk to her (and her mom, Regina).  I love when God places people in my life that give me a glimpse of Him.  These two ladies gave me that glimpse today.

Regina asked Jim and I if we would share our testimony with them (or, how we came to know and follow Jesus).  I was proud of myself for not crying....because I usually can't tell the "story" without shedding a few tears.  The tears cover lots of territory...sadness because of what happened to me 8 years ago and tears of utter joy that God would use the very things that caused me fear and plenty of sleepless nights to come to follow Him.  Joy and awe are the main reason for the tears however.

Anyhow, I am thankful to have met these two.  I know it was no "accident".  God never does things on "accident", right?  He knows exactly what I need.  And, I needed to chat with these two today!
