Recent Revelations!

Things I think about while I'm on the treadmill, driving in the car or showering:

1.  I'm almost 40 and I wonder if I am fulfilling God's plan for my life?!

2.  My daughter is going to be 12 next week, which means only a year away from the teen years.  I'm scared, very scared.

3.  I don't think quality of time trumps quantity of time with the people we love (our kids, spouse, etc).  I think both are a necessity!

4.  What you see isn't always what you get.

5.  Not everyone has the right motives even if you want to believe they do.

6.  Children are the single most precious gift given to us by God.  Why don't we always treat them as such?

7.  I am not promised tomorrow, so why don't I live like it?????

8.  God shows me how much he loves me through my patient, kind, loving, selfless husband.  When I have those "moments" I usually burst into tears.  (shocker, I know)

9.  It takes effort and conscious choice to love unconditionally.

10.  Life is SHORT…our days are numbered…and God didn’t put us on this planet to screw around…but rather to MAKE A DIFFERENCE by using what HE has given us to advance His Kingdom.
