Summer is one of the "challenges" of living in Phoenix. Let's not forget some of the good things, even in the summer months.
1. The sky is so bright blue it almost looks fake.
2. You can drive a few hours north and be completely out of the heat.
3. California is a drivable destination (unless you easily get car-sick, like myself, then you'd fly anyway).
4. You get to be outside year-round. In the summer, that just means outside in the pool.
5. You can go to a resort 10 minutes down the street and feel like you are on a full-blown vacation.
6. Air-conditioning!
So, just a little reminder that it's still great to live in Phoenix. Even as we approach 115 degree temps (or higher), there is a lot to be thankful for.
Oh, and here is a random picture, just for kicks. Connor, Connor, Connor...my little mischievous one. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger. Right?
